Continental are one of the world's largest tyres manufacturers. When Continental's UK distributor decided to redevelop the site for their motorbike tyres, they turned to Out of the Trees Web Design to produce a distinctive, standards-based design based on their corporate identity.
In addition to creating a contemporary page design to showcase Continental's range of tyres using CSS, we built a large, updateable, database-driven tyre fitment system. The system enables visitors to quickly locate tyre requirements and recommendations for individual makes and models of motorbikes. We also created a dealer locator which allows people to search using their postcode, with results being displayed using the Google Maps API. Please note: the client' in-house team is responsible for maintaining the site after relaunch, so some aspects of its appearance may differ from our original design.
