I’ve had a really, really fun couple of weeks, but that has meant I’ve not really had time to post here. It was my birthday last week, and it turned out to be the happiest birthday I’ve had in years (and not just because of the yummy choccy cake pictured above). I had some really great, thoughtful presents, went out for a good meal, spent the evening with some lovely company, and even had a champagne breakfast in bed the next day. The birthday celebrations continued into the weekend, culminating in me drinking too much Brother’s pear cider on Saturday night. Continue reading Birthday and Spinning Cats
The video for Radiohead’s House of Cards is rather beautiful, not to mention very clever.
In Radiohead’s new video for “House of Cards”, no cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data.
The ‘making of’ video is really interesting too, explaining how the 3D real-time recording and effects were created.
